Morning Bird Walk

Join TEAC for a guided bird walk led by expert birder Yoni Rabino. An experienced leader and dedicated “lister” who has led our groups in the past, Yoni brings a wealth of knowledge regarding local and migratory species of the East Coast, with a specialized knack for identifying birds by both sight and sound.

We’ll meet at the Hikers Parking Lot (located at the end of Wilson Park Drive where it meets Tower Hill Road); please remember to bring your binoculars to get the best views! Our route explores the ecosystem bordered by Rockefeller State Park, a designated Audubon Important Bird Area (IBA) — a global distinction given to places that provide essential habitat for one or more species of birds at any stage of their life cycle, making it a premier corridor for birding. We’ll bring the coffee!
